Illustrated catalogue of the 1890 Salon of the Société nationale des beaux-arts, printed in Paris by A. Lemercier et Cie for exhibition visitors and buyers. Artists supplied small pen sketches after their own exhibited paintings and sculpture: loose hatched landscapes, rock faces, orchard walls, farm sheds and files of pack animals, many with monograms, usable as sketchy line vignettes and hatching samples.
