Illustrated catalogue of the 1879 Paris Salon, edited by F. G. Dumas and published by Ludovic Baschet for exhibition visitors, collectors and the press. Artists reproduced their own paintings and sculpture as small pen and etched line sketches, numbered and captioned: bathers, interiors with figures, rural genre scenes, portraits and monuments, useful as loose black-and-white line vignettes.
