A furniture manufacturer's trade catalogue issued by the L.C. & W.L. Cron Co. of Piqua, Ohio, in 1898, printed for retail dealers and wholesale buyers ordering bedroom suites by model number. The plates are fine-line engravings of dressers, chiffoniers and mirrored cases drawn in three-quarter view, each shown with swell-front drawers, scrolled mirror crests, carved foliate ornament and stamped metal drawer pulls, usable as period furniture silhouettes, ornament details and hardware motifs.
