Catalogue of Arabic glass weights in the British Museum
A museum catalogue of Arabic glass weights and coin-stamps, compiled by Stanley Lane-Poole for the British Museum's Department of Coins and Medals and published by the Trustees in London in 1891 for numismatists and curators. Collotype plates show numbered discs photographed in raking light, their Kufic and cursive inscriptions raised in relief against plain grounds, useful for circular seal motifs and Arabic lettering forms.
