Catalogue of a collection of engravings, etchings, and woodcuts
A privately printed catalogue of Richard Fisher's collection of engravings, etchings and woodcuts, produced in London in 1879 by J. C. Wilkins for collectors and print students. The plates reproduce early woodcut decorated initials in heavy black line: letters filled with foliage, flowers, grotesques, putti, horses and standing figures in period dress, set in ruled square frames, usable as drop caps, ornament motifs or line-art texture.
