A two-volume museum catalogue of Anglo-Saxon coinage compiled by Charles Keary and Herbert Grueber for the British Museum's Department of Coins and Medals, published in London by the Trustees in 1887 for numismatists and antiquarian scholars. Plates pair obverse and reverse of silver pennies in halftone and line, giving crowned profile busts, moneyers' names in angular Latin lettering, beaded rims, and cross, rosette and lozenge reverse patterns usable as roundels, monograms and border motifs.
