A museum catalogue of Greek, Etruscan and Roman vases compiled by Edward Robinson for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, published in 1893 for curators, collectors and students. Line drawings unroll painted vase surfaces into flat friezes and wedge-shaped interior fields: spearmen, banqueters at couches, seated figures, meander and dot borders, all usable as outline figure art and repeating ornament.
