A scholarly museum catalogue of the British Museum's Greek and Etruscan vases, compiled by Cecil Smith, H. B. Walters and E. J. Forsdyke and printed for the Trustees in London from 1893, for archaeologists and collectors. Small line-engraved vase profiles carry banded, zigzag and cross-hatched ornament in dense black and white, useful as silhouette shapes, stripe patterns and hatching textures.
