Catalogue of the imperial Byzantine coins in the British Museum
A scholarly coin catalogue compiled by Warwick Wroth for the British Museum's Department of Coins and Medals and printed for the Trustees in London in 1908, for numismatists and museum curators. The plates are photographic rows of Byzantine gold and bronze coins, numbered and lettered, showing frontal emperors, Christ and Virgin figures, crosses, and Greek inscriptions usable as circular emblems, monograms, and lettering models.
