A printed library catalogue issued in 1892 by the Apprentices' Library of the General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen in New York, listing the J. Morgan Slade architectural collection and twelve supplements for tradesmen, apprentices and architects using the collection. The illustrations are repeated impressions of the society's circular seal: a cuffed arm swinging a hammer over an anvil, ringed by oak and laurel sprays and lettered borders reading the institution's name and "Incorporated A.D. 1820" \u2014 usable as an emblem, roundel device or engraved badge motif.
