Catalogue of the Jones collection
A museum catalogue of the Jones Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum, compiled by Oliver Brackett and Basil Somerset Long and printed for H.M. Stationery Office in London in 1922 for curators, collectors and the furniture trade. The plates are halftone photographs of eighteenth-century French commodes, writing tables and cabinets shot against plain grounds, showing marquetry panels, painted flower groups, and cast ormolu mounts on legs and corners, usable as silhouettes, mount details and ornament motifs.
