Catalogue of textiles from burying-grounds in Egypt
A museum catalogue of Coptic and late antique textiles excavated from Egyptian burial grounds, compiled by A. F. Kendrick for the Victoria and Albert Museum's Textiles Department and published by H. M. Stationery Office in 1920 for curators and collectors. Halftone plates show tunics, hangings and woven panels flat against dark grounds: vine scrolls, roundels, inscribed figures, fringes and worn weave texture.
