Gerard Hoet and Pieter Terwesten's Dutch sale-price catalogue of paintings auctioned in Holland and elsewhere, printed at The Hague by P. G. van Baalen in 1752 for collectors, dealers and appraisers. The plates are letterpress printer's ornaments: woodcut headpieces of scrolling acanthus, a rocaille shell cartouche, a flowering plant with sunflower and pineapple-like bloom, and repeating fleuron borders usable as rules, tailpieces and frames.
