Cathedral cities of Italy
A travel account of Italian cathedral towns written and illustrated by the English watercolourist W. W. Collins, published in London and New York in 1911 for British and American tourists and armchair readers. The 62 colour plates show brick facades, campaniles, arcaded squares and crowded market days in loose washes of terracotta, ochre and pale sky, useful for warm urban palettes and townscape silhouettes.
