Château de Saint-Cloud : domaine de la couronne
An 1839 survey of the Château de Saint-Cloud as a French crown property, printed in Paris by E. Duverger for the administrators of the royal domain. The plates are large engraved ground plans split across sheets, with walls in solid black poché, courtyards and garden parterres in outline, terrain and slopes in fine stipple and hatching, pale gray wash on roofs and terraces, and thin scale bars at the foot; useful as ready-made architectural linework, texture fills, and map fragments.
