Castles and chateaux of old Burgundy and the border provinces
A 1909 travel volume on the châteaux of Burgundy and its border provinces, written by Milburg Francisco Mansfield (Francis Miltoun) and illustrated by Blanche McManus for L. C. Page of Boston, aimed at English-speaking tourists motoring through France. The plates combine ink wash and etched-looking line work on French roofscapes, turrets and arcaded façades seen across open ground, with small pen vignettes of dormers, spires and chimneys usable as spot ornaments or headpieces.
