The child's rainy day book
A children's craft and games manual by Mary White, published by Doubleday, Page and Co. in New York in 1905, instructing young readers in knotting, sewing, weaving, paper work and other rainy-day handicrafts. Line drawings show cord, thread and needles mid-operation against blank grounds, useful for loose linear motifs, knot and loop forms, and simple diagrammatic step illustrations.
