China book.
A 1912 trade catalogue issued by the Homer Laughlin China Company of Newell, West Virginia, showing its dinnerware lines to crockery buyers and retail merchants. Plates, tureens, gravy boats and tea sets are drawn in pale washes on tan grounds, each ringed with thin gilt lines and small repeating floral borders; the border bands, vessel silhouettes and shelf-and-bracket display frames can be lifted as ornament or as flat pattern.
