Christelyke aandachten of vlammende ziel-zuchten : eener Godvreesend ziele, met een Goddelijk antwoord daar op passende
A Dutch devotional emblem book of pious meditations and divine replies, written by Gerrit Hesman with Gerardus Outhof and printed in Amsterdam by Pieter Spriet and Coenraat van Hulst in 1735 for Protestant lay readers. Fifty-four small copperplate emblems set a large flaming or vessel-like heart in open landscapes with villages, churches, sailboats and radiating sun, usable as stark silhouette motifs and hatched backgrounds.
