Cinderella, or, The little glass slipper
An illustrated retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale issued for children by Reilly and Britton in Chicago in 1908. The plates are pen-line drawings filled with flat washes of yellow, green and red, showing Cinderella fleeing the ball, the godmother with her wand beside the coach, and a border page of fairies, elves and vine leaves useful for framing devices, silhouetted stair and floor shapes, and limited-palette figure work.
