The coal tar colours of Farbwerke vorm. Meister Lucius & Brüning : Hoechst on Main : and their application in dyeing cotton and other vegetable fibres
A trade handbook issued by the Hoechst dye works Farbwerke vorm. Meister Lucius & Brüning and published in New York by its American agent H.A. Metz in 1907, written for cotton dyers, printers and mill managers working with coal-tar colours. The plates are outline engineering diagrams of dyeing and finishing machines seen in elevation and section, with roller stacks, belt runs, vats and cloth paths drawn as thin uniform lines and keyed with letters and figure numbers, useful as schematic machine silhouettes and pulley-and-belt motifs.
