Codex Vercellensis iamdudum ab Irico et Bianchino bis edutus denuo cum manuscripto
A scholarly edition of the Codex Vercellensis, the Old Latin gospel manuscript, collated afresh by Cardinal Francis Aidan Gasquet and printed in Rome by F. Pustet in 1914 for the Benedictine commission revising the Vulgate, aimed at biblical textual critics. Photographic plates show stained, torn parchment leaves in silver uncial script, some enlarged to a few words; alongside them sit engraved papal arms with tiara, crossed keys, winged lion, ship and laurel, and a circular commission stamp.
