A Latin distillation handbook by Philipp Ulstad, printed by Johann Grüninger at Strasbourg in 1528 for apothecaries, physicians and alchemical practitioners. Small woodcuts show flasks, cucurbits, alembics and furnaces set inside arched niches with hatched shading, alongside geometric constructed initials; useful for vessel silhouettes, arch frames and coarse line-shading textures.
