Coins of the Romans relating to Britain, described and illustrated
A numismatic catalogue by the antiquary John Yonge Akerman, published in London in 1844 for collectors and students of Roman Britain. The plates are line engravings of coins and medals shown face-on, with winged Victories, seated Britannia figures, laureate imperial portraits and beaded rims wrapped in Latin legends, useful as circular emblems, medallion frames or lettered roundels.
