Collection Carrand au Bargello
A photographic plate catalogue of the Carrand bequest of medieval and Renaissance decorative arts at the Bargello, issued in Rome by G. Sangiorgi in 1895 for collectors, dealers and museum curators. Objects are shot against plain grounds and reproduced in brown and grey tones: carved ivory panels and combs, roundels of figure scenes in relief, iron caskets with strapwork and mascarons, mounts and fittings, giving designers cut-out ornament, relief borders and small narrative medallions.
