Color study : a manual for teachers and students
A classroom manual on color and design by Anson K. Cross, published by Ginn & Company in Boston in 1895 for drawing teachers and their pupils. The plates are plain black line diagrams: squares crossed by diagonals, hexagons and triangles lettered a–b, and step-by-step folding and cutting sequences that resolve into quatrefoils and six-petal rosettes, useful as geometric construction marks, instructional figures, or pattern skeletons.
