Colour photography : and other recent developments of the art of the camera
A 1908 special number of The Studio, edited by Charles Holme with text by Dixon Scott, published in London, Paris and New York for photographers and art-minded amateurs following colour and pictorial methods. The plates are halftone reproductions of soft-focus photographs — head-and-shoulders portraits emerging from dark grounds, cattle on hazy roads, hillside rooftops — useful for grainy monochrome tonal washes, vignetted edges and low-contrast figure studies.
