The colour printing of carpet yarns; a useful manual for colour-chemists and textile printers
A technical manual on dyeing and printing carpet yarns, written by David Paterson for colour-chemists and textile printers and published by Scott, Greenwood in London in 1900. The single indexed plate is a coarse halftone photograph of a mill interior: rows of large drum machines with spoked cast-iron wheels, overhead pipes and shafting, a worker dwarfed beside them, useful as grainy industrial texture or a period factory silhouette.
