Congress playing cards in miniature.
A trade catalogue of Congress playing-card back designs issued by the U.S. Playing Card Company in Cincinnati in 1903, printed small for dealers and card buyers to select patterns. Each plate shows a single card back: scrolled and lattice borders, dense repeating diapers, monogram medallions, and halftone figure vignettes framed in flowers, useful as ready-made ornamental frames, tiling patterns, and label grounds.
