Contributions to the history of the south-western portion of the United States
An archaeological report by Adolph Bandelier, published in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1890 for scholars of the American Southwest, documenting ruins, pueblos and mission sites. The plates are pen-and-ink: hatched ground profiles with dashed grids showing terraced room blocks, sectional diagrams, and close line studies of eroded cliff faces and timber, useful as hatching textures, survey-style diagrams and plate lettering.
