Contributions to the history of the south-western portion of the United States
An archaeological report by Adolph Bandelier, published in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1890 for the Archaeological Institute of America, covering ruins and documentary history of Mexico and the American Southwest. The plates combine dark halftone photographs of stone ruins, adobe walls and mound sites with line-drawn plans, sections and sketch maps; useful for geometric fret and step-meander stone mosaic patterns, and for measured archaeological diagrams.
