Coping saw work
A manual-training handbook by Benjamin Wiley Johnson, published by the Manual Arts Press in Peoria, Illinois, in 1909, for schoolteachers running coping-saw and woodwork classes for children. The plates are hand-lettered pen drawings combining flat animal and toy silhouettes with dimensioned cutting diagrams, dashed fold and pivot lines, and handwritten notes, useful for cut-out animal outlines, jointed toy figures, and drafting-style annotation.
