Cordoue & Grenade
A French volume on the art and monuments of Córdoba and Granada, written by Karl Eugen Schmidt with Henry Peyre and published by H. Laurens in Paris in 1906 for travellers and students of Spanish art. Its 101 halftone photographs record Moorish architecture in grey tones: horseshoe and cusped arches, carved stucco arabesque, tiled dados, slender columns and capitals, usable as pattern and arch-form reference.
