Cotton and cotton manufacture
A short trade survey of cotton growing, milling and marketing written by James P. Warburg and issued in 1921 by the First National Bank of Boston for merchants, bankers and mill clients. The 37 halftones are mill-floor photographs: cloth webs running off calender and printing rollers, rows of workers at long finishing tables, belt-driven frames and bale handling, all in coarse dot screens on tinted stock that suit high-contrast reprinting and industrial pattern work.
