Cotton and cotton manufacture
A short trade survey of the cotton industry written by James P. Warburg and issued in 1921 by the First National Bank of Boston for bankers, merchants and mill clients. Halftone photographs show printing rollers, spinning frames, warping creels and gear trains with operatives at work, giving designers grainy industrial machine details and factory interiors in muted grey.
