A course in dyeing for garment dyers
A trade manual on dyeing garments, written by Edward Prag and issued in 1909 by The Modern Dyer and Cleaner Publishing Co. of Philadelphia for commercial dyers and cleaners. The plates are engraved and halftone equipment portraits — perforated washing cylinders with crank gears, belt-driven extractors on cast legs, a steam-fed ironing table — useful as isolated industrial objects with visible rivets, ball bearings and maker's lettering.
