The crisis in Egypt : how it was foreseen and foretold, a suggestions to statesmen, philosophers, and the educated portion of the community
An 1884 astrological pamphlet by Alfred J. Pearce, issued in London by Cousins & Co. and addressed to statesmen and educated readers as proof that the Egyptian crisis had been predicted from the stars. The plates are square-format horoscope charts ruled into twelve houses with zodiac glyphs, degree figures and compass letters, alongside a plain russet cloth cover, red-veined marbled endpaper and a line-drawn library bookplate.
