Crockery & Glass Journal was a weekly trade paper issued in New York by G. Whittemore & Co. from 1875 for dealers, importers, and manufacturers in the pottery and glass business. The 142 images here are mostly engraved department headings and column banners: block capitals set in a tinted panel, framed by ruled borders, corner fleurons, and hanging floral swags, useful as ready-made title plates and rule ornaments.
