The parks, promenades, & gardens of Paris, described and considered in relation to the wants of our own cities, and the public and private gardens
A survey of Parisian public parks, boulevard plantings, and private gardens written by the Irish gardener William Robinson and published by John Murray in London in 1869 for British municipal officials and horticulturists. The plates are engraved plan views of the Bois de Vincennes, Bois de Boulogne, and Versailles, offering stippled woodland texture, hatched lake outlines, numbered keys, and radiating path networks.
