The theory and practice of color
A 1920 color-theory manual by Bonnie E. Snow and Hugo B. Froehlich, issued by the Prang Company of New York and Chicago for art teachers and students. Its plates are printed swatch charts — rectangles and dots of hue, gray-mixed tints and complements labeled in spaced capitals — usable as period palettes, grid layouts and specimen-card typography.
