The federal capital. Report explanatory of the preliminary general plan
A 1913 Australian government report by Walter Burley Griffin's office under the Department of Home Affairs, issued by the Government Printer in Melbourne to explain the preliminary general plan for Canberra to parliament and the public. The plates are lithographed city plans in pale ink with contour hatching, concentric road geometry, radiating axes, hand-lettered zone labels such as Civic Centre, Casino and Basin, and an ornate titled cartouche.
