The Greek painters' art
A survey of Greek and Greco-Roman painting written by the American artist and art teacher Irene Weir, published by Ginn & Company in Boston and New York in 1905 for art students and general readers. The 141 halftone and line plates reproduce wall paintings, painted vases, terracotta reliefs and Pompeian architectural schemes, giving designers drapery figures, meander and palmette borders, and panel layouts with columns, garlands and framed vignettes.
