Finger plays for nursery and kindergarten
A kindergarten songbook of finger plays by Emilie Poulsson, illustrated by L. J. Bridgman and published in Boston by Lothrop, Lee and Shepard in 1921 for teachers and mothers to use with young children. Wood-engraved line cuts pair rhymes with labelled diagrams of hands miming seeds, nests and hens, plus garden and farm vignettes usable as spot illustrations and instructional pictograms.
