Venice and its story
A popular illustrated history of Venice written by Thomas Okey and published by Dent in London with Dutton in New York in 1910, aimed at general readers and travellers. Pen-and-ink drawings by Nelly Erichsen give Gothic arcades, bridges and canal views in dense black hatching with reserved white paper, alongside softer colour plates of crowded piazzas; useful for architectural line detail, arch tracery and framed viewpoints seen through openings.
