Popular amusements
A 1915 study of commercial leisure — dance halls, theatres, movies — by Richard Henry Edwards, issued in New York by Association Press for YMCA study groups and social reformers. The sole illustration is a line-drawn heraldic shield with an open book charge, two small inescutcheons, and engraver's stipple and vertical hatching standing in for tinctures, usable as a crest, colophon, or emblem outline.
