A 1920 statistical survey of Chicago's book and job printing trade, compiled by the Bureau of Business Research at Northwestern University's School of Commerce for printers, employers, and trade associations. The plates are blueprint-process charts: white ruled grids and hand-drawn line graphs on deep blue, with typed captions tracking wages, employment, and monthly averages, useful as cyanotype grid texture and data-line motifs.
