Old New England doorways
A 1919 survey of colonial doorways by Albert G. Robinson, published by Scribner's in New York for architects, builders, and antiquarian readers of early American building. Sixty-eight photographs record entrances head-on: pedimented hoods, fanlights, pilasters, panelled doors, clapboard walls and louvered shutters, in high-contrast grey tones useful for architectural detail, facade pattern, and moulding profiles.
