Cathedral cities of Spain
A travel account of Spanish cathedral towns written and painted by the English watercolourist William Wiehe Collins, published in New York by Dodd, Mead in 1909 for armchair travellers and tourists. The 61 colour plates show Romanesque and Gothic churches, sunlit stone walls and crowded market streets in loose washes, useful for warm ochre-and-blue palettes and silhouetted architectural massing.
