Spanish painting;
A Studio special number on Spanish painting, written by Aureliano de Beruete y Moret with Lewis Spence and issued by The Studio in London and New York in 1921 for art students, collectors and the magazine's general readership. The plates are colour reproductions of paintings from Velázquez and Goya to Sorolla, tipped onto grey and green mounts with printed captions, useful for muted period colour, beach and garden figure groups, and the framed plate-on-board layout itself.
