A Course in water color for the first eight years in school; with illustrative plates in color and in black-and-white
A graded watercolor manual issued by the Prang Educational Company in Boston in 1900, made for elementary teachers and pupils in the first eight school years. Plates show flat washes and wet brushwork: a red poppy with buds in a ruled border, a loosely blotted rose, a silhouetted tree in grey ink, and a black-to-red graded color strip.
